About Us
LSA currently provides residential services in homes that are leased from other not for profit corporations, specifically Mas Milagros, LLC which holds the title to our three Rivermark homes and Casa Milagro, LLC which holds the title to tour five 962 homes. Our primary source of funding is the San Andreas Regional Center, which along with Community Care licensing ensures that high standards of quality and care are maintained. Our Board of Directors has grown from a three-person panel to the current nine members who have a variety of skills and talents that enable knowledgeable and competent oversight and policy direction.

Today, LSA is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the community for individuals with enduring medicals needs. LSA’s goal is to help our residents achieve satisfying and fulfilling lives in the community. LSA is devoted to providing quality care, and is fully committed to arranging and providing intensive support when needed to ensure our residents long-term success in the community.Our services include a registered nurse on duty 40 hours per week in each of the 962 residences, licensed staff on duty 24x7, and the availability of consultants including a dietician, occupational therapist, physical therapist, recreational therapist and others as required. Our staff members are well trained and carefully screened prior to working in the homes.
LSA stives to provide each of our residents with a life filled with enriching experiences, and we are committed to ensuring that residents are involved in all the choices affecting their lives.
Staff members assists residents by offering choices of activities, clothing, food items, and attendance at community events. LSA is committed to maximizing community integration, as medically tolerated, in activities such as community day programs, family visits, outings to local parks and zoo’s, sporting events, concerts, sightseeing or scenic rides, and other similar experiences.
All homes are in local residential neighborhoods. In addition, the homes are within 10 miles of each other, enabling staff members to assist each other in case of emergencies.
All homes are wheelchair accessible and many are equiped with an electric lift system as an integral part to the home care environment. Each home was built specifically to accommodate residents with developmental disabilities.
