Kathy Frankland, Board President Kathy Frankland joined the Board of LSA in January 2009. Her professional career has spanned over 25 years in Silicon Valley where she has served in senior executive roles in finance, client services and marketing at high tech companies at several high tech firms. Kathy holds a B.A. degree from Stanford and an MBA from Wharton.

Michael Riordan, Board Treasurer Michael has been a member of the LSA board since August 2008. He has been a self -employed CPA for the last 30 years with an office located in San Jose. He is also an evening instructor at De Anza College for the last 25 years. He has an undergraduate degree in accounting from Santa Clara University and a Masters degree with emphasis in taxation from DePaul University

Doriann Shreve, Board Secretary Doriann has been on the LSA board since May 2008. She came to the Board with 25 years of experience working in the field of developmental disabilities, first with Hope Rehabilitation Services and then with Agnews Developmental Center for 5 years in the Quality Assurance Department. She currently works for the Department of Fair Employment and Housing. She is married and is the parent of two adult children. She and her husband also had a developmentally disabled son, who was a former resident of agnews. Doriann looks forward to continuing on the Board and helping to keep the vision of LSA alive and growing. |

Jeanette McNeely, Board Member Jeannette came to the Board of Directors in 2003. She is the former president of the board and now continues to serve as a board member. |

Holly Wade, Board Member Dr. Holly Wade began her teaching career in 1989 working with students who had severe disabilities. In 1998, Holly became a lecturer at San Francisco and San Jose State Universities. Dr. Wade became the director of special education at Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District in 2006. Effective July 1st 2010, Holly joined the Palo Alto Unified School District as Director of Special Education Services. Dr. Wade received her BA from Scripps College, her Masters from San Francisco State University in Special Education and her Doctorate from the University of California, Berkeley. |

Kevin Haller, Board Member Kevin Haller is a CPA with over 5 years experience in public accounting. Kevin is a Senior Accountant at Rober Lee & Associates, LLP, with experience in accounting, auditing, and taxation. Serving a variety of industries in both the for- and non-profit sectors, Kevin's accounting experience includes manufaturing, construction, transportation, private schools, private foundations, associations, and various other non-profit organizations. Kevin graducated from the Universrity of Colorado at Colorado Springs with a degree in service management, and obtained a certificate of advanced accounting proficiency from Santa Clara University. Hobbies include cooking, wushu (Chinese martical arts), yoga, kinking and golf.

Olenka Villarreal, Board Member Olenka Villarreal is a long-time Palo Alto resident and Silicon Valley professional who has recently turned her focus to serving the disabled community. As a parent to two girls, one with and one without disabilities, she understands both worlds well. Olenka serves on the Board of the Community Advisory Committee (CAC), a liason between the Palo Alto Unified School District and local families with special needs students, and is the Vice President of Friends of the Palo Alto Parks. Specifically, she is spearheading a team to build a new kind of playground in the Bay Area, where families of all abilities can play together. Being called the Magical Bridge Playground, it will be the first of its kind and will be in Palo Alto's Mitchell Park. With an undergraduate degree in Economics from Pomona College in Claremont, and MBA from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, Olenka is thrilled to apply her business experiences to LSA and is honored to help further its incredible vision.

Dana Hooper, Executive Director Dana Hooper has served as Executive Director of Life Services Alternatives, Inc. (LSA) since October 2007. Dana is a technology industry veteran with extensive sales and marketing experience. Most recently he was vice president of U.S. operations for a German software developer. Previously Dana was part of the executive team at Speech Machines, Lernout and Hauspie and Centigram in marketing, business development and general management capacities. Mr. Hooper holds an MBA from the Simon School at the University of Rochester. Dana also contributes his time and skills by serving on non-profit boards. Dana continues to be actively involved in the community and is currently serving on the Board of the Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired and the Santa Clara Chorale. He is a past president of the San Andrea Regional Center Board and a past member of Jay Nolan Community Services Board. Dana's son, Brent, is a consumer of San Andreas in supported living. |

Patty Ruiz, Human Resources Manager Patty Ruiz joined LSA in September, 2009 as Human Resources Manager. Patty has 30+ years experience as a human resources professional in both for profit and non-profit organizations. She spent 28 years with Wells Fargo bank in senior level HR positions and most recently as Director of Human Resources for a private free standing institution of higher education. Patty holds a B.A. degree from San Jose State University. She lives in San Jose with her husband and two cats and has two grown children. |

Duane Wong, Controller Duane joined LSA in October 2009. He has 20+ years of accounting and finance experience in senior level roles, in global high technology companies and recently with start up companies. Duane has a CPA and holds an MBA. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters, including reading, jogging and travel. |

Angie Speulda, 962 Program Director Angie Speulda joined LSA in July 2007, and was responsible for the opening of the LSA 962 homes. Angie has 30 years experience with developmentally disabled residents. Prior to LSA, Angie worked at Agnews Developmental Center as a psychiatric technician for 28 years. She has experience as a group leader, shift lead, state trainer for ID Team Process, and as a manager in different living residences, to include skilled nursing. Angie supervised/ran the Agnews Sheltered Workshop and the Adult Education Program from 1996 to 2007, prior to coming to LSA. |

Susan LeRitz, Rivermark Program Director Susan has been with LSA since May of 2006. She has a diverse background that spans 21 years providing support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a community setting. Her career includes residential services, day program services and independent living services. Prior to working with this population, Susan worked with seniors. |
