Please join us! On Thursday September 30^th from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm for our second annual virtual fall fundraiser, Home is Where the Heart is, where we will host speakers, entertainment, a raffle, and more!

We hope you can join us to hear our featured speaker, Paulette Penzvalto, speak about her life with Autism, her job at Google, and use her beautiful voice to sing.

You will also be entertained by the Santa Clara Chorale and the New Hope Band which is made up of people with disabilities.

We will hold a raffle where the lucky winner receives a vacation in Incline Village. You must be present to win.

There is a critical lack of affordable housing in California for adults with developmental disabilities, one of the most vulnerable and economically challenged populations in the state. In Silicon Valley, affordable housing is even harder to come by with rising housing costs, lack of availability and sky rocketing cost of living in general. In the past 3 years, at least 40 home providers have closed due to the lack of staffing, low government reimbursement rates and the high cost of living. To help relieve the need for housing for developmentally disabled adults in our county, LSA is working hard to raise enough capital to open another home. Since our inception in 2002, LSA has opened 14 homes throughout Santa Clara County. Our goal is to be able to continue to open homes for the adults with developmentally disabilities so they  can continue to learn, thrive and be the best version of themselves.
