Home is Where the Heart is
September 30 @ 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Please join us! On Thursday September 30th from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm for our second annual virtual fall fundraiser, Home is Where the Heart is, where we will host speakers, entertainment, a raffle, and more!
We hope you can join us to hear our featured speaker, Paulette Penzvalto, speak about her life with Autism, her job at Google, and use her beautiful voice to sing.
We will hold a raffle where the lucky winner receives a vacation in Incline Village. You must be present to win.
There is a critical lack of affordable housing in California for adults with developmental disabilities, one of the most vulnerable and economically challenged populations in the state. In Silicon Valley, affordable housing is even harder to come by with rising housing costs, lack of availability and sky rocketing cost of living in general. In the past 3 years, at least 40 home providers have closed due to the lack of staffing, low government reimbursement rates and the high cost of living. To help relieve the need for housing for developmentally disabled adults in our county, LSA is working hard to raise enough capital to open another home. Since our inception in 2002, LSA has opened 14 homes throughout Santa Clara County. Our goal is to be able to continue to open homes for the adults with developmentally disabilities so they can continue to learn, thrive and be the best version of themselves.
We are counting on your help to succeed, this evening will be a night of information, entertainment, fundraising and a raffle. Please mark your calendar to join us.

Be a Sponsor
Your support can go even further beyond participating in these events; you can personally work towards the mission of LSA by sponsoring one of our Fall events! We would love for you to invest in “Home is Where the Heart is” or “LSA’s Run Home,” or both!
These events will draw hundreds of people who support the developmentally disabled community. Choosing to sponsor both or even just one of these events will allow you to reach a wider audience and advocate for the I/DD community. Can we count on your support?
Please see the sponsorship packet below to learn more about the available sponsorship options. Any questions can be directed to LSA’s Director of Development, Celia Moreton, at 408-728-9627 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
