In-Home Day Program

These person-centered programs provide customized, daily recreational, physical and educational activities focused on personal goals for program participants in the community. LSA community members have the option to participate in the in-home program or attend another community program of their choice. For those who decide that attending an external program does not meet their health and support needs, opportunities for mental stimulation and physical exercise are offered within the community, empowering them to develop skills and maintain their mental health. Specialized consultants, such as dietitians, psychologists, and physical therapists, are also utilized to support community members as LSA empowers them to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Community-Based Day Program

These programs provides life skills training and stimulating community-based activities that help participants achieve positive self-esteem, independence, and a greater sense of control over their own lives. The focus of this program is for participants to explore their community, often through small-group classes such as cooking and safety.

Open to qualified adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities, our Community Integration Training Program (CITP) provides meaningful volunteer opportunities for participants to develop vocational and social skills while becoming more involved in their communities. Offering a 1:3 staffing ratio, CITP provides highly person-centered support, with a goal of participants building independence and confidence. The program operates year-round, provides a structured five-hour day, and is available on weekdays.
